The 1973 cult-classic movie, Enter the Dragon is famous for many reasons. Firstly, it marks the martial arts icon, Bruce Lee’s last cinematic appearance. Secondly, the fighting sequence that Lee performed as Shaolin temple’s kung fu instructor took all the plaudits from his fans. Thirdly, the fighting scene between Bolo and Roper was one of the iconic sequences of the movie. Among so many reasons, we now have one more reason to reminisce about the Little dragons Enter the Dragon.

Recently, a 50-year-old picture of Lee and his on-screen student, John Saxon a.k.a. Roper got resurfaced. Interestingly, the American actor and martial artist, John Saxon shared rather a close-knit relationship with the Little Phoenix. Nevertheless, Saxon wasn’t only Lee’s on-screen follower but he also religiously followed the Little Dragon’s footsteps off-screen. However, the iconic actor who played Roper died in the year 2020 from pneumonia. The legendary actor is now buried just 30 feet away from Lee’s headstone in Lake View Cemetery, Seattle.
