Some worried Twitter users have mistaken Richard Dreyfuss for the man mentioned in Julia Louis-Dreyfus' emotional 2016 Emmys speech dedicated to her late father, according to the veteran actor.

In case you missed, the Veep star made history tonight when she won her fifth consecutive Emmy for Best Actress in a comedy series. "Lastly, I'd like to dedicate this to my father William Louis-Dreyfus who passed away on Friday," she concluded during her acceptance speech, voice quavering and hands shaking. "I'm so glad that he liked Veep because his opinion was the one that really mattered. Thank you."

Dreyfuss then took to Twitter to clear up any misconceptions about his relationship to Julia, writing, "I'm actually not Julia Louis-Dreyfus' father. But I really appreciate all the concerned tweets."
