Cher, 75

Neil Favila for UGG

The same day the superstar singer scored a campaign with M.A.C. Cosmetics, she also starred in the latest Spring/Summer 2022 ad for UGG's "FEEL ___" series.

"How you 'Feel' is the most authentic part of you as a human being," Cher said in a release, while modeling the brand's iconic Classic Mini boot. "I chose to be an artist. But the hard part is succeeding and failing in front of the entire world."

With a career that's spanned decades, she knows the secret to life in the limelight is staying true to herself. "I've spent a lifetime of people either hating me or loving me; and I mean, you want to be loved, but finally it's like 'f—k it.'"

Patti Smith, 74

Steven Sebring

The godmother of punk lends her iconic voice and writing skills to a very rare brand partnership with the suitcase company, Rimowa. She stars in the campaign alongside Rihanna, LeBron James and Roger Federer, which she narrates with her new poem, "Never Still."

Her words celebrate "an ode to movement," and encourages people "to reclaim motion," as the world returns to traveling again after the coronavirus pause.

"A good job, a good suitcase, that I have used since 1996," she wrote on Instagram. "I am happy with my @rimowa suitcase, happy to prudently travel again."

Iman, 65

Ugg

The beloved fuzzy boot brand tapped the supermodel for its new Spring/Summer 2021 campaign, entitled "FEEL ____," modeling the Classic Mini II style. The ongoing series features icons who tell inspiring stories about their lives, work and what fuels their creativity.

"If you can change someone's life, you will be an icon to them," Iman said in the campaign. "Regardless of whether you've changed how they think, or you change how they think about others."

André Leon Talley, 71

Ugg

Also starring in UGG's Spring 2021 campaign? Former Vogue creative director André Leon Talley, wearing the Tasman slipper.

The items are all part of the brand's latest eco-friendly initiative, which is mindful of its environmental impact and uses recycled, organic, bio-based and sustainably sourced materials, including ECONYL, a regenerated nylon.

"I am proud to be a part of the #GucciOffTheGrid campaign and applaud @Gucci for their new sustainable collection," the actress wrote on Instagram.

Charlotte Rampling, 73 & Marc Jacobs, 56

Craig McDean

Givenchy revisited its "couple" campaign theme in its Spring-Summer 2020 ads by tapping two icons: actress Charlotte Rampling and designer Marc Jacobs. To show off the red floral motifs from the spring collection, each wear their signatures, Rampling in masculine tailoring and Jacobs in more feminine pieces, as they each look cool and confident in every portrait-style shot.

WILL SMITH, 50

Tim Walker

In his long and storied career in Hollywood it's hard to believe Will Smith hasn't starred in dozens of fashion campaign in his nearly three-decades in front of the camera. But at 50 years old, he finally nabbed his first fashion gig by teaming up with Moncler for the brand's newest campaign: "Genius Is Born Crazy."

And he's a natural fit to help elevate the brand's imaginative innovation. "Will Smith serves as a natural face for the Moncler campaign. As an actor, producer and musician, two-time Academy Award nominee and Grammy winner, Will brings an outsized imagination and dedication to creativity," the press release states.

The fashion icon and businesswoman just landed her first-ever modeling contract at age 97, signing with IMG, which will represent her for modeling, appearances and endorsements! Apfel has become known for her avant-garde style, which has landed her collections with HSN, collaborations with Le Bon Marché and Berdorf Goodman and several ad campaigns with Kate Spade, MAC Cosmetics, Alexis Bittar to name a few. "I'm very excited," Apfel told WWD of her new representation. "I never had a proper agent."

FAYE DUNAWAY, 77

Petra Collins

Gucci depicted the "lifestyles of the rich and famous" for its latest "Sylvie" handbag campaign, and tapped none other than Hollywood legend and Oscar winner Faye Dunaway for the job. She was photographed shopping, playing tennis, being chauffeured around and totally nailing that life of "luxurious leisure."

TIPPI HENDREN, 88

VERUSCHKA, 78

Courtesy Acne

Once a supermodel, always a supermodel. While '60s legend Veruschka has taken a break from her high profile career as of late, her return for Acne Studio's Resort 2017 campaign has us wondering why we ever let her leave.

VANESSA REDGRAVE, 79

Glen Luchford

The legendary actress lends her considerable talents (and incredible posture) to Gucci's Cruise 2017 advertising campaign, wearing a sweater that pays tribute to her home country.

SISSY SPACEK, 66

Marc Jacobs lauded Sissy for the "life she brings to all the characters she has portrayed" in this David Sims-shot portrait for the designer's fall/winter 2017 campaign.

COURTNEY LOVE, 52

Marc Jacobs/Instagram

And rocker Courtney got Jacobs' highest stamp of approval -- for being the "ultimate divine mess in a dress" and inspiring his grunge collection for Perry Ellis in 1992 -- thus he called on her for his fall/winter 2017 campaign for a similarly undone-chic look.

VERONICA WEBB, 50

Tiziano Magni

She puts the "super" in supermodel, showing off her ridiculously fit figure in the black-and-white ads for Sophie Theallet's spring/summer campaign.

SUSAN SARANDON, 69

Mark Abrahams/L'Oreal Paris

It only makes sense for the ageless beauty to front L'Oréal Paris's Age Perfect range, though she attributes her fabulous skin to a few other things as well: "sunblock, keep[ing] my face clean and moisturizer … and not smoking cigarettes!"

CHRISTIE BRINKLEY, 61

Courtesy Barneys

The veteran supermodel returns to her milieu – the pool – in saucy ads for Barneys New York. For a second there, I felt like Beyoncé," she told the New York Times of the shoot, which was titled "Better Than Ever" (and featured fellow pros like Pat Cleveland.) I think I turned to the camera at one point and just said, Take that, bitches!'

TWIGGY, 65

The face of the '60s is now the face – in her 60s! The super-mod-el reunited with hairstylist Daniel Galvin, who was behind her famous blonde cut when she was 16, for a spot for L'Oréal Professionel in the U.K.

JOAN DIDION, 80

Courtesy Joan Didion

Helen Mirren is still head-snappingly gorgeous, well into her seventh decade. L'Oréal Paris U.K. agrees – they tapped the star to demonstrate the effects of their Age Perfect line.

JANE FONDA, 77

COURTESY L OR AL PARIS

Fitness guru. Actress. Grandma. And L'Oréal Paris spokeswoman. The star wears a lot of titles – and all of them well.

LAUREN HUTTON, 71

Hutton's iconic '70s style is so influential that J. Crew tapped her to model and curate a collection – and her iconic look is so indelible that she's still getting booked for shoots like this one for Violet Grey.

TILDA SWINTON, 54

Courtesy Nars

She's one of Hollywood's most famous chameleons, able to effortlessly disappear into any role, which explains why her face was so appealing to François Nars – he tapped her for a spring campaign.

JESSICA LANGE, 65

Courtesy Marc Jacobs Beauty

Marc Jacobs Beauty could have had its pick of any pretty young thing – but their choice of "Bright Old Thing" (the New York Times's words, not ours!) Lange was a beautifully perfect fit.
