Bill Hader is just one on a very long and famous list of names ready to appear on SNL’s 40th-anniversary special on Saturday night. Hader dropped by The Late Show to talk about one of the worst sketches he did: It was the one he did with Will Forte where they just called each other “fart face.” It played to dead silence when they threw the idea out to the writers, but Lorne Michaels loved it, so not only did it make it in, but it got moved up. And that’s how fart face became a part of SNL history.
